This outdated home needed not only an update but also some some accessible modifications for a family member. We converted the existing garage into an open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen. The second bathroom was modified with a wheelchair accessible sink, low-curb shower and widened doorway.

Demolished old kitchen bulkheads to make room for improved custom cabinets. Demolished tile backsplash, countertops and cabinets. Removed paneling and tore out old bathroom fixtures. Removed existing flooring and partial front deck for new deck tie in. There was some site prep including backfill and driveway build up. Installed necessary plumbing for new bathroom. Garage work included new electrical outlets, new wafer lighting, 3-way switches. New electrical throughout addition including exterior lights, bathroom and kitchen exhaust fan, outlets, pendant lighting, wafer lighting, new switches, task lighting and 240 power for dual fuel range/oven. Roof installed to match existing roof. Project included new custom floating shelves, porch posts, fireplace mantel and crown molding. Tile installed at kitchen backsplash and fireplace.
